Drove down the street to a hidden gem called Gruene and immediately fell in love with the lively vintage town. Walked up and down its streets and had the best time. « We were welcomed to the adorable cabin with treats and a card. Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully updated. The river was running low, like just about everywhere in Texas, but the grounds were beautiful, with abundant seating options offered. The bbq area was lovely, and we appreciated the access to kayaks if we chose to use them. The only drawback was that the TV service was Roku, so we weren’t able to view live sports shows or news without paying separate long term fees. »

« Property is on the river and has many modern amenities. 3-4 great gathering areas in great room, kitchen, and outside. Hot tub is in like new condition and well maintained. While the house is older, the remodel and updating have been very well done so it feels and looks like the description. Water is low because of the dam work up river, but will be even more enjoyable once that work is complete and the river is flowing normal. Definitely recommend and we would definitely consider returning for...
