« The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

« We had a nice stay at this home, it suited our group well. The layout is good for multiple sets of couples and I liked the access to resort amenities and access to restaurants and local activities. The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time. »

« Beautiful property and views. Stayed overnight with my Shepherd as we traveled back home on a long trip. Great open property to walk with my dog. Large basement rental with large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Plenty of TVs too! Being a basement rental, I could hear the family walking around upstairs so keep that in mind if it bothers you. Private gated entrance, nice patio, and private entrance to basement. « The historic Funk home is a true gem. I love classic Victorian homes and the renovation work done to this home and the tasteful decor and cleanliness provided an impressive welcome for our stay. We were attending my brother's music festival; Fredfest, didn't get to spend much time at the house, but will try to schedule for next year to fully appreciate what the home has to offer. »

« We enjoyed our weekend at this property. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Beautiful acreage surrounding the home. Location was great for exploring Shenandoah, Luray, etc. Friendly host was an excellent communicator. Of note, in June there were lots and lots of flies and other insects around so I wouldn’t recommend a rural stay if that would be bothersome. »
