'Let me start out by saying that I'm 73 and I have stayed at 5 star luxury hotel in Malta and I have also stayed at a Motel 6 in Rock Island Illinois and this is by far the most disgusting hotel that I have ever stayed at. We stayed there for three nights and they gave us 1 roll of toilet paper and one packet of coffee . There was never anyone in the office to obtain new towels or anything. The place was filthy and bug infested. The exterior was unkept and overgrown. Here is the pathetic part:...

'The place is older, probably why the issues. The room smelled damp and musty. Upon further inspection we noticed the air conditioning unit was clogged up. The sliding glass door didn't work. We did get a text from front desk asking if all was ok and we addressed these issues which they were willing to come take a look at. We declined at the time so as not to interrupt our stay. I feel they had to have known about these issues prior. My biggest issue (and I totally understand cancellation policy)...

'There are no elevators so if you are on the 2nd floor you need to carry everything up some stairs. On the 2nd floor people walk right by your window on the outdoor balcony. The room is very small. The breakfast area is too small to accommodate all the guests. The road noise is almost constant.'
