« My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised at the wonderful condition of this humble motel! I’ve stayed at corporate-owned hotels at corporate rates that were dirty and in terrible need of refurbishment. However, the alpine inn is not one of those places. Clean paint, clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Good locks and comfortable beds! Also, the tv and cable both worked! We will definitely stay again. »

« This Property had bed bugs. When I went to the front desk they were not surprised and told me to leave. They said they would give me a refund but I booked through Expedia so we will see what happens now. »

« It’s a dated hotel, no frills no thrills you know it’s one of those things. You just need a roof over your head for the night. There was no bugs or pests. Everything was clean and served its purpose free Wi-Fi. I know it may be hit or miss with other rooms but the room I had this time was really good. »

« Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...
