'The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. 'Wonderful staff with easy check-in/out. Enjoyed the evening wine and cheese along with late night cookies and hot drinks. Coffe available right outside the room at 7:30. Short, 10-15 minute, walk to shopping and restaurants. Great stay!'

'Great hotel with a good location in town just west of the river. The rooms are spacious, clean and the lobby and restaurant/bar area would be at home in a classic Hollywood film. Very classic, old school luxury look and feel that is not expected at this price/trier. Stayed there four times for sports tournaments and look forward to going back! '

'Prachtig complex in zeer goede staat. Ik heb bijzonder genoten van het heerlijke terras aan een prachtige, ruim aangelegde achtertuin. De kamer was zeer ruim. De gashaard op de kamer komt mij over als geheel overbodig, maar misschien is dat in de winter anders. Het stadje Galena is een fraaie bezienswaardigheid.'
