Landhuizen in Nikko

'Room was very clean and cozy and exactly as pictured. Host was very friendly and communicative and had clear instructions in English. Would stay here again!'

'The location was ideal with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was so very helpful and considerate and the food was amazing! It was very convenient to the Kogen falls and other shops in town. Thank you for a wonderful visit while in Nikko.'

'Amazing stay ,100% recommend!'

'This is an additional review to the first. To those of you thinking that it’s a good location, forget it. Yes, it’s scenic forest with a lot of vegetation. But it’s too secluded. Theres absolutely nothing you can walk to. You have to taxi everywhere. To give you a picture, it’s like 10-13 mile to the Tobu line and a little more to the JR Station. Just a simple taxi from the station to the hotel is like $60 average for a half hour drive. The hotel offers no Shuttle services. So, plan to add a...

'The nicest hosts of any hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Everything, was perfect in every way. We could not have hoped for more!'

'The hotel is old, it gives the feeling you've travelled back in time. We booked the hotel to experience classic room with futon beds. The view from the room was very nice. Breakfast / dinner buffet was fine. The room came with kimono / yukata and quite a lot of people were wearing them in the restaurant too. We had a non-smoking room. The room smelled a bit, but this is just from wooden materials in the room in combination with the hot weather. It certainly did not smell like someone had...
