Situé à seulement 25 étapes du sable, cette belle location de plage de style condo de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain englobe toute l'unité inférieure et dispose d'un grand patio avec vue sur l'océan qui mène directement à la plage et est situé dans un emplacement privilégié de Newport Beach à distance de marche de la jetée de Newport. Doté d'un balcon avec vue sur l'océan où vous pourrez vous détendre et regarder les vagues d'eau vive se briser avec de belles vues du coucher du soleil sur l'île de Catalina. En outre, situé à proximité de la location de vélos, de la location de planches de surf, des repas en plein air, des magasins et des restaurants, tous à distance de marche. La location de plage est entièrement meublée avec cuisine complète, tous les couverts et vaisselle, micro-ondes, télévision par câble et DVD et barbecue. Idéalement situé pour toutes les attractions du sud de la Californie, Disneyland est à seulement 15 minutes. Our Stay Experience

Great location, convenient to the beach and stores/restaurants. Property was clean and in great shape. Had all the beach toys we could need. This was our second year staying at this property and would definitely recommend it.

This place has a prime location steps to the beach. The home is very dated. There are various printed signs stating that there will be a $30 charge if you mess up the input on the TV which is a small TV that we never even turned on, an old printed instruction sheet on the fridge said we would be charged if we did not bring our own linens (turned out that was out of date and did not apply), a comforter had a stain on it so I took a picture to make sure I would not get an upcharge, the garage is too small for any trucks or larger SUV and is just a manual swing up garage, the windows are all very old aluminum framed windows that are rickety, the washing machine and dryer in the garage costs you $1.25 per load so you need to get quarters, the shower drips non-stop, no outdoor hose so you rinse feet off in small buckets outside, and the kitchen is not well equipped for cooking. All in all I was nervous that any one of the old out of date things could break at any moment resulting in an upcharge. I was warm one night and didn’t even feel comfortable touching the thermostat. Stay here if you are looking for the prime location and not if you care about your comfort.

Family trip with our adult kids. Great layout of the space and location. Wished the kitchen was better equipped for cooking but other than that the unit had everything we needed. Ron was easy to contact and extremely helpful. Would rent from him again.

Location, Location, Location!

1st you can not beat the location. 1 house away from the NB boardwalk, few houses away from shops and restaurants on the boardwalk and surrounding area. Garage parking, I did not move our car in the 3 days there. Communication was great by the host before, during and afterwards. We actually left the car in the garage for 30 minutes after checkout due to long lines at the breakfast place nearby. The unit has xtra sleeping 2 bedrooms have queen bed and additional twin in the rooms which was a surprise. Beds were comfortable. Would like a few xtra towels bath and hand towels and the cabinets could be updated and tile grout cleaned but can't complain it is a beach house. Literally walk everywhere even to the grocery store. Loved it.

Great Location with Parking!

The place was perfectly located steps from the beach which was great for the kids. We were also walking distance to great restaurants and bars for the adults. The host responded really quickly to our questions and it was great having a dedicated parking space so we didn’t need to drive around looking for a spot to park overnight.

Avoid This Property Like the Plague

We rented this place with a review from my sister who stayed here and thought it was okay. The location was perfect. Her only complaint was that the owner charged her for a stained sheet that she was sure they had not stained. So we thought we'd just take precautions by taking pictures of the sheets before we left. It's a good thing we did, because 13 days after checkout, I got word from VRBO that my card was charged $210 for "flooding the bathroom and bedrooms and clogged the shower drain." It is now under investigation. In the pictures I took moments before we left, you can clearly see the carpets are dry. We also checked all the drains because of a clear warning sign in the bathroom about charges for clogged drains. Only stay here if you don't mind paying more after your stay is done. Just a few other complaints: When we arrived, one of the sheets had a stain before we ever got in it. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. They had the carpets cleaned during our stay, so we had wet carpets for 24 hours. The neighbors to the East had a party outside our bedroom window and kept us up until 2:00 am. The owner and manager were good at answering texts during the stay, but when one of my sisters left some expensive clothes there, they would not answer our texts for 5 days until her husband got upset. Not worth the stress!

Awesome location!

Location, location ! This place is amazingly located near all restaurants, bars and boardwalk. Loved being able to walk right to the sand ! Place was very clean and loved all the space. Only small complaint would be could hear upstairs renters kids running around., but just sat out on patio and enjoyed the view :) Ron was very quick to respond to any requests. Definitely would book this place again.

Great location to beach!

The proximity to the beach was awesome! The rental was super loud could hear everything from upstairs! Listing said there was a washer in the unit so packed with that in mind to find out it was coin op in garage. Do not drive a SUV there is NO room to park! Owner/caretaker is always stopping by.

Great Location, Older Unit

We loved staying in this spot. We love Newport and being near the Newport Pier affords so many activities. The beach and waves were better here than I expected and there are lots of eating options around. Ron was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. The only drawback was the low garage (our GMC Yukon didn't fit) and the next-to-none free parking. This street and the few surrounding it are very narrow, they open up after that. Just be warned that if you bring a big car you will spend time (and money) parking.

Great Location

We enjoyed the location of this property. It’s only three doors from the beach/boardwalk. Even though the property is older we felt comfortable and enjoyed being so close to everything. The host was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location. VERY dated home

For the price, it is NOT worth it. We made a last minute reservation (by last minute, I mean less than 24 hours before) . The property manager was quick to respond and accept. Communication was easy. Check in required meeting someone at the location to get the key. The key only worked the handle. You could not deadbolt the door from the outside. The location is the third house in from the boardwalk, which made it easy to get around. The house has been painted on the exterior and the interior at some point, but that is literally the only update that has been done. There were very few amenities. Half-used hotel location and shampoo bottles were provided and there were extra towels (albeit very small) in the hall closet. Beds were VERY hard. The home has beds for 9, but we literally slept on the couch because of the discomfort. Headboards are all made of plastic. It served its purpose, but I was very disappointed in the price vs. what came with the home. The outside table on the patio is so rusted that they covered it with a plastic table cloth and set heavy items on top to disguise the age. We paid over $1800 for three nights. I would NOT stay here again for this price. Either update it (like the upstairs unit which we got to go into and was very cute) or lower your price.

Fantastic location about 50 ft away from the beach and a 4 min walk to downtown Newport. The house was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities for a great day at the beach, highly recommend!

Great location

Great location however not necessarily the best place for a family wanting quiet time. Lots of young people partying and the upstairs people sound like they are right beside you. We did love the proximity to the beach and if we were younger might have enjoyed the party atmosphere.

President's Day Get-Away

The house was just steps away from the Beachwalk. We enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee. The proximity to the pier, bike rentals and amazing cronuts was fantastic. The wi-fi was good which is key for a teenager. TV was good too. Off street parking was helpful. Once we parked, we walked everywhere.

STOP!!! Don't stay here!

Stayed at this property with my girlfriend and 5 friends on NYE. We needed a place near the beach because we had plans to go to an outside club to celebrate the new year near there. Due to Covid these plans were cancelled the day of the event and there was not much else open. We decided to stay in and celebrate at the beach house and had a few extra people (11 total in the home to be exact). We did have music playing and we were a little loud at times but we were keeping the patio door closed and we never heard from any of the neighbors and the neighbors next to us were also throwing a party. It was NYE, people were celebrating. Exactly 8 minutes after midnight the owner texts me this "I was notified by the neighbors that you are having a loud party- it must stop immediately- you will be removed from the unit- pack up and be out within the next hour- I will be there and you better be gone before I arrive- the police will be notified." The Owner gave us no warning or courtesy call before he sent me this txt. He was just immediately kicking us out. We contacted the owner and had a conversation with him briefly after this and he was extremely upset and very impolite and rude. We had sent our extra guests home after the phone call and around 130am the owner shows up barging in the house using profanity and saying to get out. One of the guests was sleeping on the couch and he put his hands on him and told him to get out of his house. So we were kicked out the first night of our 2 day rental after we had all been drinking which I think is very irresponsible by the owner. We had to take Ubers to a nearby hotel which cost us extra money. The cops did end up showing up before we left and while I was having a conversation with them they mentioned that the owner is known for doing this and that they had been to his house several times over the summer for the same reason. The owner also blamed us for lighting off fireworks which we absolutely didn't do and he ended up charing us an extra cleaning fee when we DIDN'T trash the house in any way and also cleaned up as much as possible before we left. We have filed a report with VRBO and they're investigating the situation and I hope to hear back from them soon. But If you are planning on staying in Newport Beach I URGE you to look elsewhere. Owner is very rude and this was a horrible experience.
