The morning after we arrived we noticed there was bubbling in the ceiling, come to find out it was a water leak from upstairs, these things happen which is understandable due to the area getting a massive rainstorm that night. They sent workers out to repair the issue; however, never gave notice as to when they would be there, or for how long. We gave notice of the issue early that morning, the workers showed up later that evening without any communication which was not ideal. The following day we noticed that there was a severe ant problem in the kitchen, this was a major issue to us due to the fact that we weren't able to use the kitchen, with us having a 1 year old this posed a significant problem due to the fact that we need the kitchen all throughout the day. It took them several hours to respond and provide any sort of remedy towards the problem. I informed them that if this couldn't be fixed right away we would have to book another housing accommodation, which we were forced to do. I don't think I was unreasonable in my very polite request to ask them to provide some sort of compensation since we left the property two nights early. Their response was that the issue was manageable and they would only provide a small refund towards the cleaning bill. I didn't feel that their response was manageable given the circumstances. I think in the majority of cases, at the very least we would be given a refund for the nights we were not present on the property.
