« I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:) »

« We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views. »

« Loved the design of the place, the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Sitting out on the upper deck and the quiet study in the upper sitting room. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful. »

« The cabin was a perfect fit for our mini vacation. We loved every bit of it. Things like having our boat on the dock and going out fishing or just enjoying the beauty around us. We walked around the nature trail nearby and cooled off in the cabin enjoying a movie. The air conditioner was small but mighty! That kept us cool. Our kitchen setup made making meals perfect for both indoor cooking and using outdoor grill that was provided. Thank you for providing the comfort of home. »

« This house was a comfortable and peaceful place for 5 older adults and a dog to stay. A beautiful location and nice place to take walks. The light outside the door did not work when we were there but I let the owner know and I"m sure it's been rectified by now. »

« My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. The place is very clean and well kept, cozy, and many amenities provided. The host is super kind. We spent most of our time fishing, we caught a ton of perch right off the pier, we also caught northerns, and bass. We used their kayaks, up and down the river, the river is beautiful and full of wildlife. »

« This property is beautiful, clean, lots of privacy, with so much to explore outside in the woods and by the river! Its a great place to keep kids off of their electronics while exploring outdoors. But there's also plenty of room to stretch out in the cabin and unwind after the day is done. This was everything our family wanted for a quick weekend getaway! »

« The cabin was cute! Extremely clean and had just about everything we needed. Larger than it looks. Very private. Loved the woods. The rules were a little strict, in my opinion. But probably fine for most people. A couple things to note for future stays: bring paper towel, long lighter & hatchet (there's plenty of wood, but the logs were big and not split) The beginning of the trail behind the house is not marked or really visible, but if you just walk straight back, you will reach it!
