2nd year staying with Endless Summer, in the Renaissance Tower. (2 different units, each year)
This particular unit, located on the 11th floor was just absolutely gorgeous and the view is spectacular; ocean as far as the eyes can see. The advertised pics of the unit are exactly what it looks like. There were 4 of us this year; myself, my 4 y.o. Son and my bestie and her fiancée. We were pretty comfortable in the unit, but anymore than 4 may have been slightly cramped. I had the king bed with my son, very comfy bed btw. My friends stayed on the pull out couch, instead of sleeping in the bunk beds. The unit had all the comforts of home and all appliances too. Coffee maker (drip and k-cup combo) blender, toaster, microwave, toaster oven, a big huge refrigerator/freezer. We went grocery shopping for the week stay and luckily I thought to grab bags of ice for my pina colada’s because we found there weren’t any ice trays or ice makers (none in the building either)
My only complaint has absolutely nothing to do with the unit, but the building itself. There were only 2 working elevators (3 total) for a building so massive, why only 3 elevators? The 1st floor is under construction leaving only 1 entrance/exit. There’s a hot tub/sauna room that wasn’t accessible along with the 2 (very convenient) convenience stores that were out of commission along with a few other beach accesses and the outdoor in ground pool wasn’t accessible. Still, we had an amazing time. Thanks Endless Summer!!
