'Bij aankomst werden we heel vriendelijk te woord gestaan door iemand met de echte "Southern hospitality". Wat voelden we ons gelijk welkom in dit heerlijke, oud maar heel sfeervolle hotel in Savannah Georgia. Echt een aanrader. S'avond op het buiten balkon samen met wat andere gasten genieten van de avond op een schommelstoel onder het genot van een drankje. 'Our experience was amazing. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts with eggs, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, and a biscuit, Belgian waffle or pancake every morning. We had cookies waiting for us in the afternoon and wine and appetizers in the evening. We never made it to the port wine and snack before bedtime. The inn is magical with it recently updated decor. The staff bed over backwards to accommodate, and the location is close to historical sites. We can’t wait to return. '

'Southern charm, historic, with great hospitality. Staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. Each floor had it's own history from its founding to the Civil War and beyond. Rooms had some original features along with modern bathrooms and amenities. Full complimentary breakfasts and late afternoon wine and cheese offerings. I highly recommend The Marshall House. '
