The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.'

'The Pucic Palace I see as a hotel de charme. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were there in April 2022, so a bit early in the season. As such their outside terrace (elevated one) was not yet open. Breakfast was good with some special touches. Only downside I can think of there is no lounge to sit and read. 'I had a wonderful stay at La Vita e Bella in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. My room (Room 1 at La Vita e Bella IV) was recently renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. It had a small espresso maker with pods, a teapot, a tiny safe, and even fresh fruit. The bed was so comfortable, with soft white robes, luxurious towels, and a beautiful bathroom featuring both a large tub and separate shower. 'The location is incredible. Right off the stradun on the wide street. You couldn’t throw a pin in a better location. The host and staff are very accommodating and providing shuttle service back to the airport for me. The room was clean and had what I needed. I’d definitely stay here again. '

'Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.'

'Wat een subliem uitzicht op de oude stad heb je vanuit deze accommodatie. Heerlijk om op je balkon te zitten en hiervan te genieten. Daarnaast is er een groot terras bij de eigenaar, waar je ook op mag zitten. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. Het appartement was keurig schoon, qua inrichting een beetje verouderd, maar we hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. 'beautifully restored, very comfortable, just a few rooms and guests. Very quite. Rooms were lovely and well appointed. Just a couple of comments, the curtains were very hard to pull/close and the music system for the restaurant was just under the window of our room. It is portable and could be moved around the corner. '

'The hotel is located right inside the old town and is just a short walk to the nearest exit at Pile Gate. Check-in is at another location but is close enough. The room is a bit small but is clean and well equipped with good quality amenities. Although breakfast was not included as an option, there is no shortage of restaurants nearby.'

'The property was extremely well kept. It was close enough to Old Town and in a great location. The contact was extremely responsive and provided great information that made accessing the property super easy. The only complaint, if any, is that the bathroom is very tight. Not a real problem for us, however those that want a little more space may be a little disappointed with the bathroom. Overall I give our stays 4.5/5 stars. '
