« The Castaway Resort was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, clean and cozy. My views of Croton Dam Pond were fabulous and I even got to see some Baltimore Orioles. I went for a week of solitude to spend time weaving on my little workshop loom. I had the peace and quiet I needed to concentrate. The Hosts, Bob and Joy were 100% available and accommodating, and my sweet dog Poppy was completely welcomed. I would definitely return. I'm thinking maybe in the fall when kids are back in...

« We were looking for a quiet and relaxing break and that's exactly what we got! Mornings on the deck with coffee while watching and listening to the many birds were great starts to the days. The house was clean and set up nicely. The updates you have done so far were very nice and we look forward to staying again sometime. »

« Had a nice long weekend stay. Meet our adult daughter and her fiancĂ© for some family time.The lake house was just as pictured. Everything was labeled. They had more than expected for us to use. Everything we needed. Beach towels, Suntan lotion, mosquito spray, games, Keurig, etc. The couch and the beds were very comfortable. We swam in the lake every day. There are boats to rent, but since we didn’t have the experience we decided not to. Maybe next time. Thanks for a great time. »

« We enjoyed all the amenities and there are a lot of them. From the pool to the ping pong and pool tables. There is plenty to do. We had so much fun. The fire pit is the best we have used at a rental. The yard is spacious with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the sun. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation. »

« Cute cabin that met our needs. It was however difficult to find in the evening. We were given 2 different addresses which complicated matters. There needs to be clear directions to locate the cabin. When we called customer service for clarification the information they supplied were not very clear either. »
