« There was a power outage but wasn’t made aware until the day of check-in, Xmas day with family hosting dinner. More importantly was not informed that the water was also powered by electricity, thus we weren’t able to flush toilets or hands…a big health/safety issue. And, the host did provide a generator, lanterns. We were unable to cook dinner & had to order for delivery. The host did not reimburse any funds for the power being out for most of the evening. « We loved the view of the ocean, but we did find some problems with the property. The most difficult was that the light switches in the bathroom, both downstairs bedrooms and also the steep hallway to the bedroom upstairs did not work; this was dangerous at night. The house needs many updates, but overall comfortable. The bed upstairs faces away from the ocean?The property manager I spoke to was very friendly and helpful, but for the price of the property, everything should be in working order. »

« The home was exceptionally clean and cozy. The layout was perfect for all 8 of us. The kitchen was well equipped. We had one issue with a wall heater that was promptly addressed by the owner. The location was fabulous. There are terrific hiking trails within walking distance, and the gorgeous Montara Beach is just a short walk away. It was a perfect getaway! »

« I received this survey even though I had received a cancellation by the host of the VRBO. We did not stay at this location it was “cancelled” due to overbooking. This pit us in a very inconvenient position requiring us to spend an hour on the phone with VRBO trying to find a replacement for our family of 4 as we were traveling from out of state. »
