B&B in Northeast Missouri

'My guy & I decided that this was the perfect stay for us: I wanted a B&B but he doesn't like 'staying in a bedroom in someone's house'. We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It is located on bend in the Missouri River & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit.'

'Well organized, but the noise from the Interstate was a bit disappointing.'

'Excellent'

'I’m so glad I stayed at this charming and historic bed & breakfast just a few blocks away from the riverfront in my favorite little old town of Hannibal. Everything was within walking distance and it felt a little like going back in time. I highly recommend the Garden House B&B for the authentic Hannibal experience!'

'House was small and not especially clean. Behind curtains and stairs were dirty. I have stayed in old homes before. This one was small and not especially welcoming. The history was interesting though. I like cats and they did not bother us. The cats seemed to be more comfortable than any guest. Our room was surrounded by bathrooms. We did not have to share the Jack and Jill bathroom but the one in the hall was as if it was ours, it was so close. The automatic light in the hall came on...

'We loved this property! Our suite was enormous & had literally everything we could possibly need. We spent hours rocking on the balcony watching the boats or listening to live music from restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the area.'

'Could not have been better. Breakfast was amazing every day. Hosts were responsive to any need. Loved it.'

'Our stay at the Grain Bins was excellent! The spaces were exactly as described! Everything was very clean and well appointed. Communication was great. We especially enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit. Homemade breakfast each morning was such a nice touch! Added bonus: The Hermann trolley was able to pick us up and drop us back off at the end of the day. Highly recommend staying at the Hermann Grain Bins and hope to stay again in the future!'

'Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely.'

'The host thought of everything and room was a great location. We were able to walk to almost everything.'

'We had a lovely stay at the Purple Victorian. We were in town for a wedding that evening, and its close proximity without a two night minimum stay made it absolutely perfect for us. I loved the style and charm of the room. It was especially ideal for Valentine’s Day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a long time. Check in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and easy. We highly recommend staying here.'

'Wonderful view of the Missouri River! Peaceful, quiet setting perfect for a getaway !We will definitely be back!'

'My aunt and I stayed here while visiting a friend whose mom passed away. We really enjoyed the hospitality and the room. We loved it and both plan to come back with our husbands. Beautiful views all around and a great little restaurant up the block.'
