'Nice and fresh room. Lovely staff. Extra milk/tea/coffee on corridor table and toothbrushes for those who require them. Dog bowls, treats and blankets if bringing your pooch. Food was lovely.'

'Room was pretty shabby , needing refurbishment but very clean. The mattress was very soft and could do with replacing. As the room was painted in dark colours it made it feel very small but the lighting over the bed made reading comfortable. The room I had overlooked the outside beer garden which had lights on all night. The shutters did not keep the light out. As a woman on her own I noticed there was no bolt or chain from the inside but I did feel safe. The bar downstairs was really pleasant...

'Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus. We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer.'

'Not my first stay and hopefully not my last. Very nice accomodation, food and drinks and breakfast as well. Very friendly staff, ample parking space, the perfect stay!'

'Absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND! Do not book! It says on the booking description please contact property if check in is after 10pm, tried calling all day- got through at 6pm as their ‘phone lines were down’ to be told - no late check in! Refund not given! Was booked as a wedding present for bride n groom on their wedding night!'
