'This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. '

'I really wanted to love this place. The property itself is beautiful—lush trees, birds everywhere, and a very peaceful setting. The owners also provide snorkeling gear and kayaks, which is a nice touch. However, several issues made our stay disappointing. We booked a cabin advertised as oceanfront, but the view was completely blocked by palm trees—no ocean visible at all.
