This home was truly a comfort during a difficult time. We were in Memphis for a funeral and needed a peaceful, comfortable place where we could grieve, reconnect, and spend meaningful time together as a family. The house provided exactly that.The bedrooms were a true highlight of our stay — incredibly spacious, with luxury linens and wonderfully comfortable, “lights-out” mattresses. Getting good rest made such a difference during an emotional visit, and the sleeping spaces felt calm, quiet, and restorative.The home was beautifully maintained, very clean, and thoughtfully prepared. It felt warm, welcoming, and safe — a place where we could exhale after long days. My brother and his wife stayed with us as well, and they were equally impressed by how lovely the home was.The location felt secure and convenient, communication with the host was clear and responsive, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept home in Memphis.

Very nice house in a friendly neighborhood

The house was in perfect and clean condition. We had a very nice exchange with the landlord. We were able to cook our own meals in the kitchen. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and watching the squirrels. The neighborhood is very friendly and there are many walkers and joggers as there are sidewalks everywhere. There are restaurants and pubs a short walk of no more than 10-15 minutes away. We didn't need a car, we could visit everything wonderfully by using Uber or Lyft. We will remember our visit to Memphis for a long time. We had a wonderful time.

This is a DUPLEX and run down

We decided to go on a last minute trip. We were very excited to come. The property manager did communicate days before with how to get into the property and what to do. We got there after a long drive ready to settle down. In what Id say was an ok neighborhood. I will give it that. The gate was easy to access but with a mini van it was a tight squeeze to get onto the driveway especially at an angle and hill. Although the doors had easy access keyless and all. The door handles were flimsy. That was the first thing that made us feel uneasy. The kitchen was the nicest part of the entire place. The rooms were nice but not nearly as nice as the pictures make it out to be. When you get inside every door handle is rough. If you are excited to have a place to do laundry, it's in a torn up run down basement as well. That was also unsettling. Now, you especailly find the door stairwell in the middle of the place. With a deadbolt on it. That the do not show you pictures of. Mind you I just simply thought they stored their stuff upstairs. Because there another vehicle stored when we came in in the driveway. But the worst of it all was finding out it was a duplex and there was an upstairs with someone in it. I overlooked that part and that was my mistake. But when I sent this listing to others no one else noticed it and it should have been the very 1ST thing that was listed about the property, not the last. Noted I'll definitely read more and be way more careful for next time we ever book on this app. But had I known this was a duplex I wouldn't have booked this. Just the whole vibe was unsettling. When telling them that we were sorry too, trying not to get to this point here complaining like this, about what happened. They did not care. We were suppose to stay 3 nights. Wednesday through a Saturday. We stayed 2 hours. 2 hours!!!!!! They then told us we had to have a 24 hour cancelation. Well.....I canceled for the remainder of our trip. I didn't ask for everything back I get it that was my mistake but something. Anything after traveling and having my family and my babies which felt so unsafe and now have to find something else and drag my tiny babies to a hotel where we had to squeeze.7 of us on 2 queens because we are a days away from home. The unsettling house and upstairs just made our entire trip shortened because we needed to find elsewhere. And by the time we did and had only this option we left early to go home and are out so much money.

NOT as advertised and a mess. Thanks for the honeymoon from hell

1) Listed as a kitchen with everything you need, barely enough utensils to make macncheese and hamburgers for dinner. Plus leftover chicken nuggets in the oven from someone else. 2) Filthy. Sticky stuff on table and counters. Bathroom hasn’t been dusted. Cobwebs in corners. HAIR painted onto the walls. 3) Bed in front bedroom not attached to headboard, moved 18” overnight and legs came out from under it. 4) I am disabled. Advertised a pull-out sofa, which we were looking forward to relaxing and watching Netflix on, but there isn’t a sleeper sofa! 5) Host simply said “sorry for the inconvenience.” And asked if they could send a team. Which is unexpected considering the host rating and that they KNEW it was our honeymoon. Totally ridiculous and false advertising. Not to mention, to get it CLEAN would have taken hours and a huge chunk out of our trip.

Beautiful home perfect for my needs!

My visit to Memphis was part business and to visit a sick family member. This property was close to her home and was comparable to the hotel rated but with the comforts of home. I would recommend to anyone visiting Memphis!!

The porch makes it!

Great little historic house that has been renovated and is nice little neighborhood. We had a prob with the lock and the owner responded right away.. Was so nice to sit out on the porch every morning or to eat out there.. We all got to gather there talk to people going by walking their dogs...Be sure to walk couple blocks over to Cooper Young shops and restaurants. Great food and live music! Loved the set up of the house and 3 bedrooms. Having only one bathroom was a challenge at times but we made it work...only 10 min Uber from Beale St. and close to airport too! Go to the Botanic Gardens it's gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again!

Safe, homely, outstanding service

We really enjoyed staying here. When we return, we'll try and rent this house again. The commication with the property manager was timely and accurate. We felt very safe here. The amenities were all there as advertised- big kitchen with new appliances, wifi, smart tv. Availability of wash rags, the floors being a little cleaner, and the ac being a couple of more degrees cooler at night would have made this 5*. Being close to the highway, Cooper Young downton and the zoo was perfect for what we planned. Highly recommend anyone going to Memphis to stay here!

Needs some TLC

House itself as described as far as bedrooms, etc., but this place needs some TLC. More than that they need to up their cleaning game. The towels all smelled "stale" and "sour" and I had to wash all of them when we arrived. The bathroom needs the most "love" and def more attention to cleaning. Beds are comfy, AC is cold, place is roomy and close to everything.

Place was exactly what it was listed as. Nice back yard area & front porch! Easy access getting in & out. Helpful guide on resturants, bars, & attractions. Easy Like Sunday Morning

We rented this home from Sun-Sat and communication and access was easy breezy! The home is in a pretty quiet and cool historic neighborhood. It is about a 2-4 block walk to great coffee and excellent food! We all had our own rooms but unfortunately mine did not have a mirror or wardrobe so I lived out of my bag for a week. The rental has good streaming services and the living area is comfy but the sofa smelled musty so I would just suggest a cleaning. Oh and parking is awesome in the backyard with an electronic fence it is my best parking experience ever In a rental. I would definitely stay here again!!
