Herbergen in Medellín

'This our 3rd stay at Kandaya. Sadly, lots of upgrading is needed now. We first had a deluxe suite booked. Foul smell was coming from bathroom, TV wasn’t working well and air conditioned was not functioning well. We eventually moved to a villa, which was better but bathroom needs upgrading, tiles from the pool were coming off as well. Gym definitely needs a lot of upgrades. Air condition was always not properly functioning and ALL equipments were so old, most were taped off and too old to use....

'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'

'The staff are nice, the room was okay but the aircon was so loud it felt like we were on a jetplane and waking up with jet lag. Even if we switched off our aircon, we can still hear the other rooms aircon. Water to brush teeth is really stinky.'

'After we checked in, my girlfriend and I found the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It was promptly replaced and things were back in order. The bed could’ve had a thicker mattress and the room didn’t have a tv, otherwise we were pleased with the room. We enjoyed the delicious room service meal during our evening, and the grounds and beach were very nice and clean.'
