'I did not like the added charges of $25 a day for pool, shuttle to golf, etc. that we did not need nor want or used. The help staff were excellent and friendly.'

'Het was een prima complex. We hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat we tussendoor een nachtje in Hana waren. De 2e kamer vonden we minder, het was een upgrade volgens de vrouw bij de receptie maar zo voelde het niet. In de aparte slaapkamer stond de airo naast je hoofd, niet te doen. Verder genoten van ons verblijf en van Maui. Erg om nu de nieuwsberichten te lezen over alle branden. '

'The property is beautiful with Banyan trees, plumeria trees, and many other flowers and greenery. The staff were kind and helpful. The bungalow we stayed in was newly renovated and very comfortable. The beach was perfect for swimming. When I visited there were no waves, the water was crystal clear and there is a coral reef just down the beach which was perfect for snorkeling. We even saw 2 sea turtles there. For the price point this resort is a great choice! The vibe is a little more...

'We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The junior suite was spacious, clean and provided a view on the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and cool boxes are available to take to the beach. There is also a jacuzzi and small pool. Overall, a great stay in a quiet area of Maui.'

'We had a fantastic time! Our condo was a little dated, but it was so practical and clean with a great location that I didn’t mind. If you stay at The Whaler, try to get a room on the north side of the south tower or the south side of the north tower. Our room was on the south side of the south tower and our view was good, but the other views would have been spectacular! Also, being able to walk to the shops, restaurants and activities in front of of the Whaler was awesome. So much more...
