'The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. 'Nice place to stay for a couple of days. Friendly hosts. The food is said to be very good, but we didt get the change to experience it ourselves. We took the guided bus to Cambridge, leaving the car at the nearby P+R.
In the 2nd- front- room the traffic noise was quite loud although there were not that many cars passing at night.'
