Cottages in Horicon Marsh

'Hotel is a fabulous gem. Modern amenities but maintaining the character and history of the hotel. Luggage cart wheels were flat. Might not seem like a big deal until you try to use them! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location.'

'I believe the HVAC for the building or another machine was near my bedroom. The noise was coming between the bathroom and bedroom. You could hear it turn on and off and this would not let me sleep and my daughter who was supposed to take her ACT the next morning. When it was on you could hear the noise. Staff was friendly, room was clean and breakfast was fine. But do not stay in room 317 if you want to sleep well. Not sure if the whole building is like this. '

'Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. All in all, not a bad motel but probably wouldn’t...

'The hotel was very expensive yet the quality of the interior surroundings, beds and baths are only slightly above the quality of a super 8. The beds are very hard and don't appear to have been upgraded when the hotel was renovated. In additon, the person at the check in was curt and not very kind. All in all, the stay was not worth the price.'

'We only stayed one night arrived quite late and left early.The staff was very outgoing, ready to accommodate anything that we would’ve needed or asked for. We left quite early in the morning, but they had coffee and crinkle ready at 6 AM. They helped carry our luggage to the car very helpful.'

'I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from...
