Warren and Caroline were gracious hosts and allowed my parents to check in early, they provided a tour of the property, and made sure everything that my parents asked of them was available. They were easily reachable by text or message if needed! The house itself was so charming! An old Maine home that has seen many things, and hosted many a gathering, we actually hosted our Vietnamese Wedding ceremonies and celebrations on Friday night right onsite in the dining room!...

« This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. »

The location was perfect—an easy drive to both, which made getting around simple and stress-free.The home has a peaceful backyard set away from the road, which made it a nice spot to relax. You might hear some traffic at night if the windows are open, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.Communication with the owners was excellent—very prompt and helpful. « Pleasant stay "like at home" in a beautiful property offering plenty of space, ingredients and equipment for the kitchen, indoor and outdoor games and there is even a massage chair (appreciated after long walks ). The garden is huge, but too bad we weren't able to enjoy it much because it had rained a lot and the grass was a bit high (the gardener mowed the day we left. Bad luck).
