'The location was good and the room was clean. My check-in experience was not great. It’s a very confusing place. There are three hotels next to each other and it was hard to know which one was mine. The woman at the front desk was. not especially friendly and she acted annoyed when I asked her questions. I had a really hard time trying to figure out where to park and walking is a challenge for me and that made it worse. I don’t think I’d stay there again.'

'Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.'

'Not as advertised; teeny. The photos made it look spacious. The front yard was being raked and seeded for grass when we arrived so there were broken branches on our path. The deck, table and chairs had not been cleaned and we're dirty and covered with leaf litter. The room had no comfy chair, only a floor lamp with a bare bulb. No hooks for hanging anything and no coat hangers. We left to find another place to stay and have been promised a refund that has not come through. Very disappointed!'

'This was the perfect size for us for a short stay. It had all the essentials, and it was clean and tidy. (We spend most of our time outside and away from our lodging when on vacation.) I discussed a couple of small concerns with the host, and he was very responsive. We would stay there again in the future.'

'I was there to visit Acadia NP. It was close at 20 minutes away. The motel had free coffee and mini donuts. The morning coffee was fresh and the manager was attentive. I had no issues. There was a great seafood restaurant across the street with good Lobster. It got cold and the room heater worked well.'
