« Everything was how I pictured it would be. The only negative would be that the stove wouldn’t work. I’m sure it was just the pilot light but I didn’t come prepared to light it. Bought a lighter and had to light the burners each time I used the stove. I did not know how to light pilot for oven. Would definitely recommend your cabins and I would stay again. »

« Our 10-day visit to the Lexington Michigan area went well, this property was perfectly located, clean and comfortable during our stay. We, too, own a cottage in the area that we short term rent and we treated this home as we hope our tenants treat ours during their stay. The outside space is well done too! I will rent again! »

« Property manager was awesome and very attentive. Was looking for a calm, quiet, peaceful place that was next to the lake. This trip was a gift to myself. Traveling by myself, I felt extremely comfortable and safe. Loved the large porch with table, and the customized welcome sign next to the front door. As soon as I walked in, I lit up with excitement. « The cottage is adorable with beautiful lake view. The furniture is clean and in good condition. However appliances were not clean and refrigerator did'nt maintain proper cold temp. Host does provide smart a TV but does not provide cable or wifi. We were told not to use fireplace or access beach. Sunporch is not furnished as shown. Numerous ladybugs, dead and alive, especially in kitchen. We had a few other issues and decided to check out early and stay elsewhere. »

« This is our second time staying at the cottages. Perfect location across from the beach, and park. Clean and comfortable. Lots of games for playing indoors when cool, and an outdoor fire pit , volleyball court and outdoor toys for playing outdoors. The host is very responsive, and super helpful. Perfect place whether visiting in the summer or Fall. »

« We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions...

« Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond. »

« My partner and I stayed here for my birthday weekend trip, and we really enjoyed it. The check-in process was very simple and quick. The owners were very communicative and helpful (in the event we needed anything). The view was lovely. We do wish the parking lot was more spacious. However, it was nice there was additional overflow parking in the back - we appreciated that. Thank you so much for hosting us, we will be back in the future. »

« Overall, this place was as advertised. I stayed with my husband, 14 month old child, my sister, and my parents. Check in was smooth, and communication was fast and easy when we needed to locate towels. We chose to stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel because we needed access to a kitchen for baby bottles and cooking in general. The kitchen was mostly well-appointed, but we had to borrow baking sheets from other family. Other guests left behind a ton of food in the pantry, most of it expired,...

« We had an awesome time. We ordered pizza from Sweetwater and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the water …what a view! We also had Joyce come out and teach us a craft which was very fun. Saturday for lunch was chicken from Jeff’s delicious. Over all all 9 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the place. »
