« We came up for a family reunion and found this property that may accommodate a wheelchair. Had a ramp on the front. Everything was great. Location was perfect for where we were headed. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. Easy check in and check out. Host was very quick with responses. Would stay again. »

« We had a great time at the lake cottage. Everything was as listed and in good condition. We were looking for a quiet place on a lake and that is exactly what we got. We really loved the added bonus of the little boat and trolling motor. We were able to get around the entire lake on a single battery charge. We made sure to bring a paddle just in case. « Beautiful, quiet location! Had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable. Provided a relaxing weekend with lots of things to do at the house: kayaking, bonfires, games, cornhole, etc. Short drive to downtown Gaylord for restaurants/breweries. Set-up of the house was perfect for us. Adults slept upstairs, kids downstairs. Morning coffee on the balcony was so peaceful! Would highly recommend! »

« This was a perfect location for a golf trip to the Gaylord area. Right between Treetops and Garland and several other courses. The host was very good at responding to our questions, and the cabin was just right for us (two golfing guys) to be comfortable. Paul's Pub - about 1.5 miles down the road - was wonderful as well. »

« Wonderful stay!We had a group of 4 adults 5 kids 1 dog, and the recently renovated space accommodated us comfortably. Fully stocked kitchen supplies, games, extra cozy blankets, pet necessities, bonfire stuff, and a thoughtful extra cabinet full of “just in case” items. We loved the large outdoor deck and lake access. We spent time kayaking, swimming (floating dock in the middle of the small lake). Spent a day out in Alpena (45 minute drive) at the Starlite beach and Austin Brother’s brewery...

« We’ve been coming here at least 5 years. It’s been very good for our needs and budget. If you’re looking for plush this may not be your style but it you need lots of room on the lake with a dock and close to shopping and town, this may be your place. The owner is very accessible and accommodating to our needs. »

« Marilyn and Jim couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, check-in couldn’t have been easier. The cottage was spotless. The beach area was a big hit. This is a sandy bottom lake which is great for water clarity and if you don’t like squishy/muddy lake bottoms. Sunsets right over the lake were amazing. Could’t recommend it more, enjoy! »
