'20 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Expect to travel about 5km of rough gravel and potholes on a road where locals live. There are signs along the way to keep you on track; I would not stay here without a car. The property grounds were well kept. There were 13 bungalows in a row; not a resort as the name states (no gym,no activities, no spa, one small pool, one small restaurant, no lobby etc). Regardless, I felt safe and secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. I strolled the property and saw...

'The best resort I have even stayed in. The views of the volcano are breathtaking. The grounds are Pristine and full of nature and wildlife. The pool bar was incredible along with all the other bars around the property. There are hot springs all over the property. You feel like you’re in a theme park. The service is top notch and exactly what you would expect at a 5 star resort. I was truly mind blown by this location and we had a great time. I highly recommend staying at the springs resort!'

'It's very nice to be able to get to the hot pools kind of straight from your room. The room though, called a "deluxe suite" is a regular room with two small chairs. The bathroom actually is very spacious. The restaurant is mediocre at best. Service was fine. '

'Our honeymoon suite was everything we wanted and more. They have a restaurant on the property that is delicious the bridge over the stream & long walkway back felt like that of a top notch resort.
