Lodges in Chania

'This is our 2nd visit here and we have booked again for Easter. Absolutely love this place it’s ideally situated for central Chania and just a few metres from the buzz of the harbour. The rooms are lovely and well equipped and the bed is so comfortable, bathroom perfect and very clean and housekeeping every day. You have to walk a short way to their sister hotel for breakfast but all adds to the ambience. The breakfasts are fab with lots of choice. The only tiny issue is that there is no lift...

'Accueil et chambre parfaits, service top, excellent pdj. Merci, vraiment. '

'Geweldig ontvangst, wij voelde ons zeer welkom. Geweldige accommodatie, ligging en de beste service. Echte aanrader!!!'

'Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home.'

'Beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen maar goed geregeld'

'Mooi gerenoveerd hotel met goede restaurants nabij.'

'Goei service.

'Beautiful hotel in a prime location with an excellent view.'

'Very nice hotel and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location. Thank you'

'Excellent. The sea views amazing'

'We travel a reasonable amount and we just say this was one of the most unique and enjoyable rooms we have ever stayed in. Every single detail of the room is impeccable. The original distressed stained coffered ceilings, the wall murals, the furniture, the bathrooms, the configuration. As real estate owners we could even appreciate the level of detail in the electrical and plumbing. The patio was not huge but it was very adequate and provided an immersive feeling in the whole Hania Old Port vibe....

'I booked room for 4 but i got room meant for 2 people. I had to sleep on the couch. Horrible'

'Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel.

'We had an incredible time! The team helped us book activities, suggested plans based on our interests, were extremely kind and welcoming and the room and amenities were spectacular. To top it off the food was incredible! The breakfast greek yogurt with fruit and granola was my favorite ever. We cant wait to go back!'
