Sunset Kahili 403, Oceanfront, 4th Floor in Poipu Come Enjoy the view!

Located in the heart of Sunny Poipu, Sunset Kahili 403 affords a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean. This fourth floor condo is completely refurbished and smarty decorated, with all of the comforts of home. The bedroom, with a cal-king bed and full en-suite can be separated by a sliding privacy screen. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with attention to detail and is lovely and convenient for the preparation of meals.

Brennecke’s is just a short walk down the hill and is adjacent to Poipu State Park where you can snorkel, surf and enjoy the sun. There is also a life guard, shallow area for the little ones, picnic tables, restrooms and showers. Other nearby activities include: golfing, botanical gardens, fishing, horseback riding, and much more! There are a variety of restaurants that are within walking distance from the condo.

Or, if you just want to relax from your private lanai, you can watch for sea turtles, dolphins and the seasonal humpback whale. Also, you can view spectacular sunsets.

For days you feel like staying close to home, you can always lounge by the swimming pool and take a refreshing dip whenever you please. Regardless of how you choose to spend your time on Kauai, there is a very good chance you will want to return.

Location, location, location!

Nice unit in an older complex. Located minutes (walking distance) from Poipu Beach. Well appointed. Views of the ocean from the lanai, sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. We enjoyed our stay very much.

When you advertise the rental, you should have stated that there was going to be construction/demolition going on during our stay. Started at 8:00am through 4:00pm. This project was to last a month. Secondly, Vrbo fees are ridiculous. Don't know what the hell I paid 400.00 for.Won't use Vrbo again

First time to this area and stayed five nights during Feb '25. Great location. Condo was in decent shape, clean and over all very nice and comfortable. Was worried about no AC but enjoyed falling asleep to the ocean with windows open. Would rent this again

Great place to enjoy paradise

Well appointed, clean, quiet, and the always magical breezes flowing through. Our evening and cooking times could have been much improved if the lighting was better! Kitchen had dim lighting and no lamp had bigger than 60w bulbs. Went to Kauai rentals and they had no bigger bulbs. Otherwise a delightful place.

Poipu area convenience

We were happy with our unit. It had the most spectacular sunset views. The condo is very convenient to the beaches and the hotels and resorts. The property manager was easy to communicate with. But beware no air conditioning. There is a nice breeze off the water but sometimes it can be very hot.

The best things about this condo are the view from the balcony (splendid) and the comfortable bed. It’s clean and well-equipped. But the decor is tired. Even budget updates would improve the appearance. Artificial flowers, faded pictures, and cutesy knick-knacks should be retired. A fresh coat of paint in a cool tone would be a vast improvement over the flesh-tone walls. Some new prints from Target or Ross would brighten the place. The shower door is ill-fitting and the door seal strip pops out. The shower head is fixed and it’s hard to rinse soap off. When the tub was converted to a shower the old tub fixtures were maintained.

Great home away from home

This space is clearly well-loved and well-lived in. Kitchen was fully stocked, there were a lot of extras (binoculars for balcony whale watching, guidebooks etc…) While the space isn’t shiny and new, it was perfect for what we needed while exploring this magical island of Kauai.

Turtles and Travel

We really enjoyed our stay. I broke my foot unexpectedly before our stay. As such, I spent more time than planned on the lanai. The view is as portrayed in the photos. From the lanai I was able to spot sea turtles and enjoy the sunset and rainbows. It would have been nicer if the unit had air conditioning, but we were able to get a nice air flow through the unit by opening all the doors and windows with the ceiling fans going. The unit is conveniently located. I highly recommend a visit to Puka Dogs. I am not a big hot dog fan, but these won me over!

First trip to Kauai

The condo was amazing. The view was spectacular. The construction going on in the complex was awful.

We loved the condo and the view off the lanai was why we go to Hawaii. And It was just a block from a white sand beach. The kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated. It was a perfect place to relax. Until the jack hammers started early morning tearing up the lanais on neighboring units. We arrived on Friday to the sound of construction. Luckily they didn't work over the weekend. But were back at it a Monday morning. We called the rental agency and they quickly found us a new condo. So while we loved the unit, we wish we would have been told about the construction before we rented.
