Villa's in Kingsbridge

'We booked this hotel very last minute and it was one of the few left available in the area. The staff were lovely although the manager was less so helpful and rather lazy! Rooms were clean but very tired and need a complete update including the plumbing where water drains so slowly from the sink and the toilet flush almost impossible to do! They no longer do any sort of food which is a shame as the website shows a dining area and people enjoying the menu. The atmosphere was zero in the evening...

'Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.'

'A truly memorable stay. The suite was delightful. Would have preferred a separate shower cubicle as well as the bath. The service was excellent and dining was a joy. Would recommend this special hotel to all.'
