The housekeeping services were lacking. The toilet was clean when we arrived but was never cleaned during our 4 night stay. The same applies to the bathroom counter top. The floor was not properly swept during our stay. Soil that I tracked in during my second day in Corpus was still there when I checked out. Most motels provide cups or glasses to use during the stay. Atwell did not. The breakfast offering were very weak. Pastries, although limited in choice were available only during the first moring. I remember taking the last one expecting fresh ones the next day. That did not happen. No pastries were available during the next three morning. Fruit and individual yogurt cups, two very basic items availble in all other motel breakfasts, were not available. It is better not to offer breakfast if it is not going to be done right.
