Coyote Trail: Heated Pool, Spa, Boutique Resort

Modern eclectic design, spacious indoor/outdoor living, and luxury amenities make Coyote Trail a one-of-a-kind Joshua Tree stay. With the National Park entrance in your backyard and downtown just up the street, you’re close to everything while still enjoying a quiet neighborhood. This artsy homestead is ideal for relaxing getaways, artist trips, yoga retreats, family gatherings, or low-key reunions with friends. We use organic, natural sheets and products throughout the home.

Dine by the pool as cottontails wander by, then head out for a hike in Joshua Tree National Park. Surrounded by mountains in Monument Manor, Coyote Trail is a reimagined midcentury ranch homesteader with an “old Hollywood desert explorer” feel and artist-designed, eco-conscious style. Enjoy sunset skies, native birds, fresh herbs from the permaculture garden, a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ area, and the spa. Outdoor paved spaces are ideal for stretching, yoga, and meditation.

Additional amenities include organic beds and Oeko-Tex/organic linens, local artwork, towel warmers, ponchos and robes, reverse-osmosis alkaline water filtration, organic soaps/shampoos, coffee station, Chemex pour-over, Ninja coffee/tea maker, Vitamix blender, Le Creuset cookware, books, workspace, and printer.

SLEEPING:
Bedroom 1 (Primary): King bed, private en-suite bathroom, Awara organic mattress.
Bedroom 2 (Rattan Room): Queen bed, Avocado organic mattress.
Bedroom 3 (Palm Room): Queen bed, Avocado organic alpaca topper and Needle mattress.
Bedroom 4 (The Den): Queen CB2 sofa bed + Twin XL daybed, en-suite bathroom.
Living Room: Sofa converts into a King-size bed.
There are 5 beds and 3 bathrooms.

OUTDOORS:
The outdoor space feels like a private desert resort with landscaped areas, cabanas, poolside lounging, hammocks, swinging chairs, a large dining table, grill, outdoor sink, shower, tub, solar lighting, and fire pits for s’mores and stargazing.

POOL & SPA:
Pool heating is optional and subject to an additional charge. Please request it in advance, as the pool may take a full day to heat. We can have it heated for arrival. The spa heats up to 104°F and is included at no additional charge.

FEATURES:
Smart Home with e-locks, 60” LG Smart TV, Netflix/HBO/NFL Sports Package, solar outdoor lighting, Wi-Fi up to approximately 15 Mbps, workspace, and printer. Kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

VENDORS:
Pool/spa service takes place every Tuesday and Friday from 11am–3pm. Vendors require backyard access but will not enter the home.

FAMILY & PETS:
Family- and dog-friendly. Children age 2+ count toward occupancy. Dogs require prior approval; please send breed and age. A $100 cleaning & companion fee + applicable taxes applies per pet.

EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must match the reservation. Guests over 6 are charged $50/night per guest plus booking fees and applicable taxes. Day guests require approval and must leave by 10pm.

GOOD NEIGHBOR / QUIET HOURS:
Please respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are 10pm–8am. No outdoor music is allowed at any time per county regulations. Avoid excessive outdoor noise and stop loud activity by 9pm. Decibel monitors are installed inside and outside; tampering results in loss of the security deposit. Rule violations may result in cancellation without refund.

CLEANING:
Our team follows enhanced sanitation procedures. Early check-ins and late check-outs are generally unavailable and, if approved, may be subject to fees + applicable taxes.

PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
Commercial photo/video use requires prior approval and may require an additional licensing/usage fee.

WILDLIFE:
You may encounter quail, lizards, insects, snakes, squirrels, kangaroo mice, and other desert wildlife.

NO SMOKING:
No smoking or candles indoors. Smoking must be at least 15 ft from exterior doors. Violations incur a $250 charge + applicable taxes.

POOL & HOT TUB DETAILS:
Pool heating to approximately 85°F costs $350 + 7% tax ($24.50) = $374.50 total for the first 48 hours, and $150 + 7% tax ($10.50) = $160.50 total for each additional 24 hours. A minimum 48-hour heating period is required. Hot tub heating is included at no extra charge.

CHECK-IN FORM:
Guests must complete our check-in form before receiving check-in instructions.

VERIFICATION:
Bookings are protected by TRUVI. After confirmation, guests must complete identity verification before arrival. Check-in details are shared after verification. Guests may also need to agree to House Rules or Terms & Conditions.

EV CHARGER:
An EV charger is located on the left side of the home when facing the entrance. A public charger is also nearby at Joshua Tree Distillery.

CELLULAR COVERAGE:
Cell service can be limited in this secluded desert setting.

BEES:
Bees may be present in the backyard seasonally.

HOUSE RULES:

1. No unauthorized guests/visitors. Children 2+ count toward occupancy. Extra guests after the 6th are $50/night + applicable taxes.
2. Check-in 4PM; check-out 11AM. Approved early/late requests may incur fees + applicable taxes. Reschedules follow the cancellation policy.
3. Dogs require prior approval. $100 cleaning & companion fee per dog + applicable taxes. Unapproved pets may result in eviction without refund.
4. No smoking/candles inside or within 15 ft of doors. Violations: $250 + applicable taxes.
5. Quiet hours 10PM–8AM. NO OUTDOOR MUSIC at any time. Tampering with decibel monitors forfeits the security deposit.
6. Keep doors closed to prevent pests.
7. No commercial photo/video shoots without approval; additional licensing fees may apply.
8. No parties/events without prior written approval.
9. Staff/vendors may access grounds for maintenance; pool/spa service Tue/Fri 11am–3pm.
10. No glitter/confetti. Remove decorations by checkout.
11. No glass near pool/spa.
12. Pool/spa use is at your own risk. No diving, intoxicated use, or solo use. If misuse requires hot-tub draining: $250 surcharge + applicable taxes.
13. Leave home tidy, remove trash, and wash dishes. Excessive mess: $500 cleaning charge + applicable taxes.
14. Wi-Fi speed/connectivity is not guaranteed. Illegal internet use is prohibited.
15. Guests must respond to code-enforcement/noise concerns within 30 minutes. Failure may result in a $1,000 county fine for which the guest is responsible.
16. Maximum 6 cars.
17. Exterior security cameras and noise monitors are present.
18. Report damage immediately. Unreported broken, damaged, or missing items may incur a $100 fee + applicable taxes per item, plus actual repair/replacement costs.
19. Lost key: $25 restocking fee + applicable taxes.
20. Travel insurance is recommended.
21. Rule violations may result in immediate cancellation/eviction without refund and/or withholding of the security deposit plus applicable damages.
