We visited in November. Well, it only interrupted our sleep. One night, we are generally good at sleeping with noise, there was regular dance music coming from the nearby property. We do enjoy meeting other guests and this hotel at this time of year is completely focussed on local guests. So if you would like to meet other visitors from English speaking countries at this time of year, it did not seem to be an option. There are English speaking staff, but many of the staff also do not really speak English. Because this is an area of large/mostly all-inclusive hotels. There is no evening dining options along the beach, no real vibe at night. As you’ll see in other reviews, there are good restaurants outside of the hotel but the area was very quiet. I was told that January through March may be a more interesting time to visit. When I checked in, I was told that I could charge things to the room using my wristband, but it took three visits to the front desk to input my credit card so it wasn’t until the last day that this worked. The beach is nice, the ocean is warm, the waves to crash pretty hard (so kids, and those who do not want to dive the waves need to stay in quite close). I noticed a margarita at the pool bar was $15 Canadian equivalent. I didn’t see a happy hour.
