'We loved our stay. We stayed in the penthouse, and it felt like a real treat Mark, who runs the place, was lovely when we arrived. He let us leave our bags there as we were early. The room was adorable. I got up and had a bath in the morning, and the location was perfect as we were on the Pride march.'

'Excellent location. We were fortunate that we were able to park opposite otherwise that would have been an issue feeding meters etc. Room was an average size with a lovely sea view. Bed was a king and very comfortable. Breakfast experience was disappointing. We were charged for literally everything separately. Teas and coffee, toast and jam (marmalade not available!) were all charged as extras. Also, a service charge was added on top of this. Having said that the breakfast room was a beautiful...

'I really enjoyed my stay. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the beach, train station, and bus station. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I had a lovely stay and would happily recommend this place. 🙂'

'Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays.'
