'I needed somewhere to stay to recharge the batteries and switch off from a stressful job. Cowslip Cottage was the perfect setting for this. I woke up to the gentle trickling from the pond opposite the cottage and cows grazing peacefully. 'This is a lovely peaceful location which is also dog friendly. The cottage has everything you need. The location is very rural so transport is needed, but that means its very peaceful and relaxing. The historic City of Canterbury is nearby & this is an ideal base to explore north Kent. The garden outdoors, although shared between 3 properties is entirely enlcosed so its possible to let your dogs run free. There is a hot-tub (although we didn't use this). 'Lovely find for last minute! The cottage was just perfect for what we needed and loved the bbq and fire pit for us to do ourselves, very quiet and is so isolated for location, you could hear a pin drop. Lovely hosts also that showed us around, very friendly and book with all local information and contact information if we needed any help also! We will definitely come back for longer in The future! '

'The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well presented, there was no contact with the owner so no problems, our only concern was the lack of a handrail on the stairs and the design of the top landing between the two upstairs rooms both need addressing. '
