'This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. We particularly enjoyed the local walks from the resort which we purchased from reception for £1 on arrival. 'Loved staying here! I don't think there could possibly be a more beautiful view from the hot tub and living room. The space is compact, but well laid out, comfortably furnished, and had all we needed. Great trails nearby too. Thanks and would gladly stay here again!'

'Lovely host who was very accommodating. We arrived late and only stayed one night. Not sure if fans are available but even with the heat turned off, it was a bit warm. Very clean, nice house that was as advertised.'

'We have stayed several times at Melfort Village and always love it. Friendly staff, comfortable cottages-especially enjoy the log fires-and our dog is welcome although unfortunately the on site restaurant is no longer dog friendly.'
