« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« We've were amazed by Terresa from start finish. Her communication and the amount of detailed information she had provided regarding her beautiful cottage and even restaurant suggestions and places of interest, was over the top. If looking for an over the top place to stay , look no farther. No more searching for us, our next visit to the area will be at The Turtle Cottage. »

« Cozy little cottage! Able to comfortably sleep our party, the property was nice and clean, the view in the backyard was very pretty to look at. Will most likely be coming and staying at this home again! »

« My mother and I had a wonderful stay! The hosts are beautiful people. Any issues or concerns we had were quickly addressed. The home and property looked great and it was a very relaxing environment. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We were introduced to theirs horses and friendly dogs. There are also chickens, cats, and various wildlife to enjoy. The ranch has a private entrance, so you feel safe and secluded. But there are various places of worship, restaurants, and a...

« This was a peaceful place and had beautiful views of the lake. If you're trying to get away from a busy city - stay here. The decor is nice, beds were comfy and the host was attentive. She thought of everything! »

« This property was amazing! The check-in was very easy, with a convenient water taxi to and from the property. There are goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks on the property and they are all very friendly. The host was great and super accomodating. This was a great stay, and I cannot recommend it enough if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat. »

« Cozy cabin »

« The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family. »

« Our stay at this precious cottage was exactly what we needed after traveling and festivities at college graduation. The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces. We were all extremely comfortable in the large beds with fresh clean linens, the adorable bathroom and full kitchen.
