'Staff was great, amenities excellent, & food in hotel restaurant top notch. Awesome ocean view. Indoor pool & outside pool great. Lazy river great as well. We were entertained by a guest party in the restaurant which was extra special. Great moment for my wife & I. Totally unexpected. Definitely would stay here again. In fact, the food was so good that on our trip back home we stopped in to eat there again. 5 star experience. '

It was so nice to walk right out to the beach, then go to the pool area, and be able to walk back and forth as we wanted with the showers (to rinse off sand) right in between. 'The property set the bar for a relaxing, yet engaging, vacation. The room was spacious, as we were accommodating five people.The food choices were diverse and the pool areas were laid out beautifully. The live music by the pool was such a a nice touch, and there was any activity one could want by the water. A swift walk to the beach for another adventure directly across from the hotel set the tone for a day of fun I. The sun. We will be back. '

'El Matador is a wonderful location. The complex could use some renovations, but it makes up for it in location and character. It’s a laid back location. Fewer people and less stress. We really enjoyed it. The room was well maintained and nice. We had a wonderful vacation and will try to rent the same room again. '
