Woonboten in St. George Island

'The staff members were attentive and friendly. The nature and the view from the windows are wonderful. The room amenities need some cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs, such as the blinds or a missing light bulb on the balcony. I would rate the breakfast as 3 out of 5.'

'Breakfast was plentiful and mostly good. Staff was quite accommodating and friendly.'

'Kind and respectful staff! Close to nice restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean.'

'Outstanding service, plenty of parking, clean rooms and very quiet even though my room was near the elevator. Highly recommend this hotel.'

'Breakfast was good, the staff constantly replenished any items that were running low and were very friendly. Had some communication issue with front desk and room wasn’t made up one day. Bed was comfortable'

'Clean rooms'

'A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay.'

'If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place.'

'The stay was ok until I tried to leave. At checkout time I was told that I still owed $8.20 for parking. I almost lost it. As a Hilton honors I never payed for parking anywhere I have stayed. I would really like someone to explain why this happened at a Hilton Hotel.'

'Heel fijn hotel. Kamer ruim genoeg. Goed ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie ligging en makkelijk om op de hoofdweg te komen. De niet roken Kamer rook helaas nog wel naar rook. '

'This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal.'

'A beautiful home in a quiet area along the waterfront. Owner was responsive immediately when we had questions. Definitely look forward to coming back!'

'This really was immaculate and a really wonderful place to stay. An outstanding kitchen with modern appliances and an excellent induction cook top with a wide variety of pans and cookware that enabled us to cook just as we would at home, peaceful, spacious with a lovely view out from the back deck. Simply couldn't have asked for more'
