The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely decorated and remodeled with thoughtful amenities including onsite laundry and an exceptionally well stocked pantry for guests to use. « Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out. »

Amazing huge deck to view the loons, swans, ducks & geese. 5 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect for my family of 8 people with a long dining table so we could all sit down together. Owner was very responsive for extra water and trash removal. Close to lots of activities including an Alpaca farm! »

« Good location for a stay in Clayton NY. Stayed there from a week of fishing and it is conveniently located walking distance from the municipal boat ramp that has no parking. The host was awesome and made the stay very enjoyable. Will stay there again. »

« The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked! The host communicated his availability and made sure everything was okay after we had been there for a day. « We enjoyed a beautiful week at Sunset Cottage. Keith was there to greet us and help with luggage and gave us a brief tour of the cottage. The views were beautiful with lots of activity with swans, loons, a variety of birds, and you never knew what you were going to see. The cottage was clean, modern, and comfortable. « We stayed a week. Had everything we needed which was great since I didn’t realize how much stuff I would actually need. The kids loved playing in the yard and finding “camping stuff” (sticks), loved putting their feet in the water. It was very convenient being so close to everything as well. The hill to get down was a little nerve racking but the kid thought it was fun. Overall was fun. »
