'Beautiful location, with beautiful swimmingpool with view over the Ocean, Ara's and whales. Friendly employees (95%), but for a 5star expected I more... For my Birthday I got a special dessert. Massage was nice with the sounds of the Ara's and ocean at the background. Spacy room and good beds. At sealevel an extra place to stay. I can recommend this hotel!'

'We really enjoyed the service and food in the restaurant. It's that feeling when food is prepared with love. It was very tasty and clean! While we were waiting for our main courses, they brought us crispy bread with cheese spreads, and for dessert, we got to try fruit ice cream, courtesy of the restaurant. 'This was a beautiful property! The plunge pool was delightful in the evening we would relax in it and watch the Macaws fly by. You could hear the howler monkeys in the forest; you are on the side of a mountain. The road into the community is gated and the location is very close to Torculas. '

'Heerlijk hotel in een prachtige omgeving. Lekker om uit te rusten na een rondreis door Costa Rica. Ontbijt en dinner kan wel beter. Een paar keer bultruggen gespot vanaf het strand. Dat was super! Verder genoten van simpelweg wat toeren in de omgeving. De wegen zijn erg slecht, maar dat is ook de charme van Costa Rica. '

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...

'Estrutura boa com 2 piscinas grandes, entretenimento. Restaurante com comida bem servida e boa, mas nada excepcional. Pode estacionar bem perto da playa blanca e tem lá serviço de bar. Praia boa, calma, não muito grande e com poucas pessoas. Tem outra praia bem na frente do hotel, mas a playa branca é melhor.'

'Beautiful setting and views. Lots of birds and macaws showed up in the trees and flyovers. Bare bones kitchen but only stayed one nite. Room comfortable but could use update. Nice to have AC. Dining options a short drive away. Pool was refreshing'

'Thomas was a great host. He was super knowledgeable about area and even drove us to a couple places before we decided to rent a car. This is a hidden gem. We got to see monkeys from our balcony in their natural habitat If you're looking for a quiet romantic getaway, this is it. I do recommend renting a car as things are a bit away. But close enough for day trips. '
