« Good location. The lobby and first floor of the Ilikai are nice spaces. My only complaint is that the small mini-split AC unit is underpowered for this room. We were never able to get the room cool enough. We kept the shades closed but the heat from the windows overpowers this small AC unit. A fan in the room would have been helpful. « This was a clean room and a central location. It has a good view of the water. You can watch the fireworks from the hotel that occur everything Friday if you're here. It's very close (1/2 block) from a great food truck area. They'd a really good market at the other end of the block. Parking, like in all of Honolulu, is pricey, but if you communicate with the owner about a spot, you can get one in the hotel for less. It was a good spot, easy to get in and out for a smaller car. « The room is on the 23rd floor. To get there you have to use the stairs or the elevators. At least one of the elevators was broken for about half the time were there.The room itself was fine. When we arrived the smoke detector was chirping. A maintenance worker was there within 30 minutes to fix it. The coffee maker was gross -didn't look like it has been maintained.
