'Check in was easy. We just had to stop at the first cabin to check in, and the owner then met us at the cabin we were staying and showed us around. Kitchen was cute and cozy located in the original portion of the cabin with all the essentials. Cabin was perfect for what we needed, had a great pine smell with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. Small shaded deck with a fire ring and grill that looks out to the pond. 'We came up to big star lake to hang out with family who have a cottage there. We had a very good night and then came back to a really nice home to sleep in. This place has all the ammenities of our own home. We felt at home instantly. 10 stars!! Would definitly stay here again.'

'The moment we pulled up to the drive way I knew it was going to be an amazing stay. From the cottage feel to the abundance of fun things to do (kayaking, fishing, grilling, outdoor / indoor games, and so much more!) there was no shortage of family memories to build. 'Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again! '
