Blokhutten in Idaho Springs

'Location to everything you think of when you’re in Colorado. Denver is nearby. Skiing is nearby. Ski rental nearby. It had nice amenities, was clean and had plenty of space for two. We would definitely stay again!'

'The instructions to check in were clear and the place was super clean. I took a screenshot of the listing since it said there is no service so I recommend doing that. The kitchen is stocked with pots and plates and we enjoyed the board games they had as well. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again. '

'Would recommend to stock cooking oil and or a new scrubber for dishes. Made washing pans a bit hard and there were no nearby grocery stores to go pick up in the evening. '

'We really loved our stay! It is a beautiful spot and the home is well built in the high winds. We had a few small issues we noticed and the hosts were quick to take care of them while we were there. We did not quite realize the altitude was as high as it was, (we were coming from 1,000 feet) but the view and beauty made it worth it. The sauna, hot tub and wood stove were all wonderful ways to stay warm in the chilly winter. '

'This house is beautiful and they really thought about all the details! What an incredible location! although not for the unadventurous as 10,000ft elevation is a whole different world! The hosts were EXTREMELY good with communication. There are steps to get to the house from the parking area which I understood from the listing. I just didn’t understand how many! And that was a challenge for a few of the people in our group. So make sure everyone is very comfortable with outside steps. Overall...

'The property was excellent, we loved it. Love the scenery. Unfortunately we came on a bad weekend when the wind was awful. So bad that it blew rocks up off the ground and broke my window. Besides that unfortunate event, we had a great time and we'll be coming back'
