The Space:
Aspen Pine Cabin is a modern-rustic retreat nestled among the trees at the foot of Guanella Pass (officially designated National Forest and Colorado Scenic Byway). One of nine modern cabins at Lostfork Basecamp, this one-bedroom stay blends modern comforts and simplicity. Aspen Pine offers a private setting, still just steps away from our outdoor community center.
The cabin sleeps up to four, with a queen bed and a comfortable sleeper sofa, and is filled with soft natural light, clean lines, and styles that mirror the forest outside. A kitchenette including a mini fridge, hot plate, and convection microwave makes it easy to prepare light meals. The open layout and vaulted ceilings invite you to look up and out at the trees and mountains surrounding the site.
Inside, you’ll have an intimate spot for meals, card games while finishing off the night after a day on the trail. You can look out the large windows at the trees or up at the stars, and dream up your next adventure. Or refresh with a well-deserved reset in the sleek full bathroom with an ultra-modern feel.
Spend the morning outside on your own covered patio, where morning coffee or creekside daydreaming feels like your own little retreat. Or you can unwind in your private hot tub, nestled just outside your cabin. Steps away, guests also have access to LostFork’s on-site outdoor community center, which includes a creekside sauna and cold plunge.
