« What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina. »

« Beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained and everything working. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities and friendly hosts with good recommendations and quick to respond to questions. Watching the seals breakfast in the mornings was a bonus. »

« My family enjoyed our stay in Tina’s house. Everything we needed was there, the kitchen was well stocked and all the room were nicely furnished. The view overlooking Heriot Bay was constantly changing, with boats and the ferry coming and going. We would definitely stay again. »

« Adorable heritage cottage that has family pride all over it! The cabin is quaint, cute and very well appointed with all that is needed for a home away from home. The care that goes into this older cabin is obvious. We were very comfortable and had complete privacy during our stay. Loved it and would certain recommend AND book again. Thanks for an amazing three day stay. »

« This is our second stay at this cosy little cabin it is in a great location for hiking and paddling. Kelli is a great host and promptly attends to any issues. The cabin is showing signs of age and could use a bit of maintenance. We hope to come back next year. »

« The property is lovely, the house top-notch with very comfy accoms for 2 couples +2 singles, and the kitchen fully stocked with all the mod cons (very picky detail: no hand mixer for making whipped cream, from a woman who travels with her own knives :P ). There are lots of activities in the near area and shops closeby. We booked for a restful christmas and were able to make a feast for 6 without issue, did some lovely (rainy and windy) walks, and enjoyed the wildlife. On the downside, we...

« The place is even better than advertised. It's location is close to many great amenities on Cortes, including fairly close to the ferry, the grocery and a nice, dockside restaurant. Sue was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, always highly responsive. Really, this place is so great I'd like to keep it a secret so we can easily book for years to come. Can't wait to come back! »
