'A área comum é razoável, a vista do quarto bonita, mas o hotel está em condições muito mal conservadas, tapetes sujos, e o pior foi o banheiro com a porta caindo, para tomar banho não podia se movimentar. Fiquei bastante decepcionada. O café da manhã foi bom e a recepção amável.'

'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'

'Liked the location, style and size of the rooms and friendliness of staff. Not so keen on the menu (choice and portion size of some main courses) and thought drinks were quite expensive.'

'Couldn’t recommend The Tenpus at Charlton Hall more! We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges and had such a lovely relaxing time. We had planned to eat at the Lobster Pot in Bamburgh but lucky for us they were a chef down and couldn’t accommodate us so we ate in the Tempus restaurant which was outstanding. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so friendly and made us very welcome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to book again… absolutely loved everything about our visit.'
