'The room was good, although some basic things where missing like a refrigerator and coffee. However the biggest bummer besides the expensive parking was the neighborhood it was located in. Everywhere homeless and very shady people. At night my wife didn't dear to go out cause of this. I'm a smoker myself so i went out regulary just to smoke and stand in front of the hotel where in total 4 times strange folks tried to pull something off. 'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'
