« Spent a night in the cabin with my girlfriend to get away from the city for a night. Location to Rickets Glen State Park is amazing. I highly suggest doing the main waterfall trail there. Takes about 3 hours with moderate difficulty due to a lot of steps and slippery surfaces. The cabin definitely has an authentic rustic feel if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s clear they have done/are doing some construction there. The fire pit is a really nice one, but the beds could use some help. Also...

« The house was better than we expected. I thought it was a house just off the road but wasn't expecting it to be 1.4 miles into the woods. But that was the BEST part for us as a family. « We had a wonderful time. Really close to all riding. Easy to park trailer for motorcycles. Hot tub and fire pot was a nightly occurrence. We had a great time barbecuing for dinner and going to Main St. Creamery for dessert. Thanks for a great stay. Would absolutely visit again. »

« The property was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the location is perfect. Stacey and Tim are attuned to the smallest details which added comfort and ease for our long weekend get away with friends. We appreciated the fluffy towels, well stocked kitchen, wood for the fire pit, working gas grill, turntable and vinyl collection. The property and ease of renting were top notch. « We’ve stayed here at least 3 times and it keeps getting better. The hosts have made numerous upgrades. Peaceful and quiet yet fairly central to the places you may want to see. Great covered back porch from which you can hear the waterfall in the koi/bullfrog pond. We will definitely stay again. »
