'I liked the hotel, the pools, the coffee. Improvement areas: The hotel is next to a Bush road, we heard the traffic. I could appreciate if more healthy breakfast options were available.'

'We arrived after 10pm on a Saturday night. The entire hallway smelled of weed and cigarettes. It was stuffy and stinky. After 7hrs of driving we were too tired to go anywhere else. We were checked in quickly and went to our room. Opened the door to a well used, dirty room. Went back downstairs and was given another room. The hallways smelled of drugs and was extremely hot. Our room according to the wall AC was 80*. The hallway was hotter. It took about 2hrs to cool down. We did open the window...

'All very good indeed. Photos and hotel descriptions are accurate. A few things concerning the breakfast. Overall the quality of the presented food is ok. I would recommend a good coffee machine with the option of a cappuccino. There are great Franke machines that do a magnificent job. However the first days we had proper porcelain plates and cups, steel cutlery, and normal glasses. The last 3 days that was converted to disposable paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery. 'Het hotel ziet er beter uit op de foto's dan in het echt. Het hotel werd verbouwd tijdens ons verblijf waardoor we voor het ontbijt naar het naastgelegen hotel moesten lopen. Het zwembad was vrij klein en werd in de loop van de week steeds viezer. De schoonmaak in het hotel was wisselend en viel wat tegen. De ligging van het hotel is prima om zowel San Francisco en Napa te bezoeken maar de directe omgeving is vrij saai.'

'There was no clerk at the front desk to check in. I asked for a nonsmoking room. I got a room with a strong cigarette stench. I had to change rooms. '

'Smoking is a big issue within the room and around the property. It took a week for the stinky smoke smell to fade away in my room. Even so, there is no escape from the cigarette smell around the hotel. Guests smoke outside of their rooms, in the hallway, and around the property. The quality of the staff varied from professional to unfriendly to under training employee. '
